Linda began working in food service at 16 at a movie theater, where she eventually became a manager. She went on to work in a variety of roles from Utah to Oregon, where she met her future wife and Gan Shan Sous Chef, Kaya. With an art history background and a love for design, she brings a creative eye to how we welcome guests and support our team.

She is also a true fan of Pan-Asian flavors. Before joining us, Linda would finish shifts as the manager at ACE and come to Gan Shan to eat, always ordering Mapo Doufu. Pro tip from Linda: β€œEat the Mapo with rice. The rice is there for a reason, use it!”

Looking ahead, Linda is excited about our newest menu additions, continuing to beautify the space, and making sure the crew has everything they need to take great care of you.
